Program Description:
Imagine having a superpower that could be used to build effective and successful teams. This training will expose participants to the foundational knowledge and skills needed to incorporate the power of effective feedback into their own work environment. This interactive training will explain “the why” behind the power of feedback as well as provide examples, direct application and interactive practice opportunities. Feedback is vital to problem solving as it exposes both the good and bad of ideas and behavior. However, giving and receiving feedback is often dreaded by peers and supervisors alike.
Goals:
• provide participants with the superpowers necessary to harness the power of feedback in the development of effective teams.
Objectives:
Identify characteristic of a psychologically safe, inclusive, and collaborative team
Learn best practices in executing difficult conversation
Practice giving formal and informal engaged feedback
