Workshop Description: Just like it is important for you to take care of the needs of your children, it is also important for you to take care of your own needs. This parenting workshop will provide you with knowledge surrounding the different types of self-care, its benefits, and why it should be an essential priority in your life.  

Goal: Gain an understanding of self-care and how it impacts parenting.


· Identify four core areas where self-care may be needed.

· Identify specific self-care methods for each core area. 

· Explore personality styles and learn how personality styles can impact parenting.

Target Audience: parents, stepparents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, foster parents, kinship parents and guardians, legal guardians, caretakers, etc.
